Second training held in Turkmenbashi for Logistics representatives.

Transport is a modern caravan, and where this "caravan" is taking place, trade and economic relations are being established, peoples are connecting, a new stage of international relations is coming along with peace and stability. Turkmenistan attaches great importance to the development of trans-logistics structures of the country's transport sector.

Noting the importance of developing the transport and communication infrastructure in the Central Asian region and the Caspian region, the important projects for creating opportunities for trans-logistic links between the Central Asian region and the Middle East region are proposed and initiated. Following this initiative, with the support of the project local coordinator (THADA), in the framework of the “Strengthening Transport and Logistics BIOs in Central Asia” project, the capacity building training for the logistics and transport SMEs was held in Turkmenbashi from July 10th - 13n .

The training was based on the actual material and real situations that arise during international deliveries.

During the practical training participants were acquainted with the valuable information about the lifecycle of logistics supply chain in Bulgaria, Latvia and other European countries. Lack of the qualification of the personnel, transparency in the organization and lack of the information from the outside were identified as the obstacles to the exit of local companies to the international market.

One of the examples of the practice during the seminar was the implementation of collective SWOT analysis by the participants on the example of the new build glass-reproduction manufacture. During the practical sessions, participants have received the information about the algorithm of risk management; international transport services market and its main subject; the features of registration of transport and shipping documents required for the production of customs clearance and customs control in the territory of the Customs Union.

The logistics of international transportation aims to cross the borders of the state, unhindered passage of customs control. International logistics provides safe transportation of goods, goods from the producer to the country of the customer. The participants have agreed that that it is necessary to define the system that will optimize material costs and time.

At the end of the training all participants have received Certificate of attendance and handouts contained useful information with the detailed project description.
